Livvi talks about her favourite designers, must have accessory, her first pet, and an odd fascination with elephants lol. Gotta love her!

Described as part “island girl-part maneater,” Livvi Franc may be new to the music scene, but she is not playing the shy girl role. Her debut single “Now I’m That Bi*#h,” featuring Pitbull and produced by Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse), sends a clear message about “Being In Total Control of Herself”. The 21 year old British born Bajan beauty says that the pop hit is about “reclaiming the word and turning it into something positive, as I’ve grown older, I’ve become more confident and developed a greater sense of self”.

“Now I’m that Bi*#h” is currently ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs chart and was the No. 2 “Most Added” record. While most newcomers to the scene may be ecstatic just to have their single hit the charts-Franc has already learned the value of diversifying her talent. She pens most of her lyrics and recently co-wrote “Walking On Snow” for songstress Jordin Sparks’ latest album. Another anticipated smash off of Franc’s debut album “This is a Raid,” will be featured on CW’s hit series Melrose Place.

Ocean Style sat down with Livvi Franc to discuss all things fun and fabulous…

Who are your favorite designers? Both modern and classic?

I’m into LaQuan Smith…Balmain, Alexander McQueen, and of course Dolce & Gabbana.

If you had 7 hours in your most favorite city in the world, what would you do?

I love NYC! It is my favorite place of the moment. From Broadway musicals, to getting lost in the city, to browsing stores along 5th Avenue and in the Village…I could go on and on!! If I had 7 hrs…I would definitely, see a musical, have a great meal, watch a movie and go shopping…shoe shopping!

What is your favorite new trend? Your least favorite new trend?

I was just on style.com the other day…I was not really feeling the whole “depression chic” as they’ve coined it…but I’m definitely feeling the boyfriend jean and boyfriend jacket trend.

What’s your favorite beauty product?

Umm…any bar soap, cocoa butter and Vaseline. I’m a simple girl!

The name of your first pet. What type of animal was she/he?

My first pet was a cat named Sherry.

Your absolute favorite must have accessory of the season?

A fabulous pair of sunglasses, of course! Protects your eyes in style!!! Sunglasses make a statement! Get some!

If you had to choose to live with 1 family-The Cosbys’ or The Obamas’ who would it be?

The Obamas’!! Love that they value education, family, community and making a difference!!!

3 things that you often dream about at night

Oh boy…I am the queen of weird dreams. The busier I am the less I dream… that is a good thing for me!

Favorite wild animal

Elephants! They poop up to 80 lbs per day!!! We should all be so lucky!
