Let the countdown begin! The video for Livvi Franc’s next video forher single “Automatik” is gonna be FIYAH!!!

As promised, I’ve got some hot deets from last week’s “Automatik” music video shoot! Livvi says she can totally relate to the song, explaining, “It’s about being in love with a guy, and you’re trying to get away, but you keep going back — like automatic.”

The Scene
Directed by Malcom Jones, the video was shot at NYC’s Duvet, a popular nightclub known for having row after row of plush king-size beds. (And you might recognize it from HBO’s Sex & the City series!)

Livvi was sweet and gracious as ever, greeting me with a huge smile and warm hug. When chatting about the video, Livvi lit up. “I’m at a club with my friends, and we’re just dancing, having fun. I see this guy, and my heart goes aflutter. The video really showcases my loving, romantic side.” And Livvi obviously enjoyed every minute of it — she was really into the shoot, singing and dancing nonstop. Between takes, she noshed on fresh strawberries, cheese cubes and bottled water. (What, no popcorn, Liv?! Ha!)

The Eye Candy
Besides the hotness that is Livvi Franc, the sexy nightclub and the fierce Porsche in the video, the vid’s male lead, Victor, is a stunner! He’s an actor from Los Angeles and plays Livvi’s love interest. We chatted. Maybe flirted. Whatev. Anyway, Victor was psyched to work with Liv. “I saw the ‘Now I’m That Bitch’ video, and I was definitely down to work with her,” he says. “I play her ex-boyfriend in the video, and we kind of catch eyes across the club, just flirting.”

The Style
Livvi looked absolutely gorgeous in black leggings, a black leotard layered under a sheer cutout vest, chunky silver accessories and strappy heels. Her look for the video was very “Livvi” — cutting-edge pieces in neutral colors mixed with a few statement accessories. I spoke with shoot stylist and designer of the Harlan Bel fashion line, Brandy, who says, “Livvi’s style in the video is very modern and clean, with a little edge, but still pretty. We used some geometric shapes and colorblocking that I think work really well with the lights in the club. She’s got great legs, and I wanted to enhance that.”
“Automatik” is def going to be a fierce video! Keep an eye out for it later this month or next.
